There’s no doubt the Philadelphia Eagles have a gauntlet of a four game stretch that lies ahead of them and it certainly won’t be an easy task. Given the fact that they have already taken care of business defeating the Dallas Cowboys in a nail biter at home a few weeks ago and the reigning defending champions the Kansas City Chiefs on the road, the Eagles have put themselves firmly in the drivers seat in the NFC standings with seven games remaining.

With the next four games including the Bills and 49ers at home followed by the Cowboys and Seahawks on the road, this will be the ultimate test for the Eagles in determining if they will rightfully claim the #1 seed heading into the playoffs or if they will end up falling to the #5 seed, losing the division race, and not having home field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. If the Eagles can somehow have a .500 or better record through these next four games, their chances of gaining the overall #1 seed and home field advantage leading up to the Super Bowl would be even more tangible.

Truth. Sometimes I listen to SiriusXM NFL radio, and they’ll talk about other teams upcoming schedule. “They have a chance to string a few together here, but then they’ll have to go to Philadelphia and try to get a win there”

Meanwhile I’m back where I was last year - each win is a relief instead of a celebration. This has been a rough one, but great teams find a way to win.
