Yes, it arrived. Yes, I tried it. I purchased the Baked Starter Kit in Fair. The retractable Kabuki is nice quality; I’d buy it on its own. All of the products feel silky and light. The only customizable item is the Color Correcting Foundation. I did not play around with the color option to see if/which colors changed in the palette based on skin tone. Foundation is full size. The palette is inconvenient for travel but it provides ample eyeshadow, bronzer, highlight, and blush for significant use. Not a chintzy set.

Me: normal skin type. Mature skin. Light (winter) to light+ or light medium (summer) with cool undertones. Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless in Creamy Beige (122) is a perfect color match in summer. This winter I am wearing Fenty Blur Tint in #4. Dark undereye circles and fine lines. Redness around my nose. Faint sun damage on the sides of my face. My usual products are a mix of drugstore and Sephora/Ulta/Department Store brands. I work in a conservative industry (public finance) and keep my makeup pretty simple; my clubbing days are mostly behind me.

Foundation (Fair) is buildable light-to-medium coverage. Did not settle into my fine lines nor accentuate any imperfections and did cover the redness and sun damage. The finish is a beautiful blurred effect. Did not feel drying. Did not degrade or change after 8 hours of wear. I double cleanse and it came off easily.

I’m not sure if I was too heavy handed with the bronzer on my hairline or if the color is not quite right. On the rest of my face the color looked really nice. (My husband is excellent at color matching and always gives me keen, specific, and accurate feedback - one more reason he’s amazing.) I ordered another color correcting foundation in Porcelain to see if it is a better match.

The blush (Pink Buttercream) is lovely. Pigmented. Finish is not too shimmery. Pretty and soft color. Perfect for everyday wear.

The bronzer is a great color match. Blends easily. I usually have to work my contour products (powder and stick) where this was effortless.

The highlight (French Vanilla) does what it’s supposed to do. The baked blush gave me enough radiance that I only used the highlighter on my brow bone and the inner corner of my eyes. I am not generally heavy-handed with highlight. I was not with this one either.

The eyeshadow is super. I do not wear eyeshadow on the regular. I sampled the mid-tone on my lid into the crease. It did not settle or crease or disappear. At most I swipe bronzer and blush across my lids after applying them where I want them on my face. Really, I am lazy here. I do not wear mascara.

I liked the products so much that, in addition to the Porcelain foundation, I ordered the bronzer, highlight, and full size blush (in a different color) for an upcoming vacation to avoid traveling with liquids. I will find out how they hold up in heat and humidity since here is it cold and dry. The ultimate test. LOL

    Hope this helps!
