I’d love to briefly tell you about my game Slay the Minotaur! If you couldn’t already tell I am making a game where your goal is to… Slay the Minotaur!
Slay the Minotaur is a highly replayable 3d (N64 inspired) action game with an emphasis on speedrunning. Learn the maze and discover new strategies. See how fast you can defeat the Minotaur and earn ranks based on your performance! Fail to slay the Minotaur and it’s game over.
The Minotaur is deadly and will hunt you down. What you need to do is survive the onslaught of fallen heroes, cyclops and gorgons and avoid the Minotaur before you are ready to take him head on. Simple, right?
Exploring the labyrinth you will find new weapons and gear which will grant you special moves including casting powerful thunder bolts! The witty Aphrodite will aid you on your journey by upgrading your attributes turning you into a mythical hero.
The kind of gear you find in the maze will change per run but in some parts of the maze you will continuously find certain loot you may want to get as soon as you can. If you want Poseidon’s Trident there is a place you can always find it. Although loot has an element of randomness the maze itself remains the same between runs.

I hope you also love the idea of being trapped in the labyrinth with the Minotaur in a game of cat and mouse! I am planning to release the game early next year so expect Slay the Minotaur no later than February 2024!
FYI it’s rogue, not rouge. Unless you’re describing the game as having a light reddish pink tint to it.
