    No it doesn’t. You literally just said nothing, the reason why kat is so high is because he has a good defensive team. His teams defensive rating is good so naturally he will have a good one as well. You do just look at stats because anyone who watches basketball knows kat is a bad defender and Russ is a average to below average defender who just gives effort. Defensive rating doesn’t calculate defense it calculates points. Which isn’t defense.

        As I said you said nothing, defensive rating doesn’t calculate defense it calculates points. Easy way to debunk this stat is Evan mobley, top 3 defender in the nba rn and isn’t on this list… wanna know why? Because his team is like the top 20th ranked defense or something like that.

        Nic claxton, Mikal Bridges, dfs aren’t on this list because they are on a bad ranked defensive team. There ya go this entire stat is debunked. Don’t use this stat unless it’s to calculate how good a TEAMS defense is.
