Let’s assume Reich wanted Stroud. Is there any way Stroud is playing well in this offense? I can’t see how. Reich failed with Matt Ryan as his QB last year. Minshew has very similar stats this year to what Matt Ryan had last year and Shane Steichen is getting more wins than Reich had with the colts. Maybe just maybe it doesn’t matter what QB Reich has and he’s just ass?
Additionally, I know we’re harsh on Fitterer, but I think he’s just a yes man. He facilitates what the owner and head coach want done. You cannot convince me that Fitt went from wanting a bunch of Baylor/Temple players to wanting a bunch of former eagles players and players who haven’t been good since 3 years ago. I don’t think Reich has paid attention since he was OC on the Eagles. Now he’s trying to construct a team here and he’s adding names like Miles Sanders and Jordan Matthews and Brett Toth and Tarik Cohen and Blake Martinez. Fire Fitterer if you want, I don’t care. But I’m convinced that Reich is just blowing chunks all over this team
No, if Stroud was here he would look worse than Young as Bryce is a bit more careful than Stroud. Stroud would try to make plays and push the ball down field which would go horribly with these wide outs.
