It was apparent last year that they were a fringe playoff team in an uber-top-heavy Eastern conference and were getting insane deals for both OG and Siakam. Instead of selling, they turn into buyers and get Poeltl from the Spurs in exchange for next year’s 1st round pick (which will probably be in the lottery) and two 2nds. Why would they do this, especially with how talented this most recent draft class has turned out to be?

    I don’t think they’ll blow up anything. They have 6 good-to-very-good players and a bunch of riff raff. Clear out the riff raff and they could easily be in the middle of the east race.
