The Buffalo Bills have 84 penalties against the team for a total of 696 yards in 12 games played.
The Arizona Cardinals have 79 penalties against for a total of 721 yards in 12 games played.
Other teams that have played 12 games:
Raiders with 56 penalties for 488 yards, Giants with 66 penalties for 533 yards, Commanders with 64 penalties for 494 yards.
Beneficiary penalties are pretty comparable between these 12 GP teams.
Does this not fall on coaching?
Other notable flagfests are the Cowboys and Seahawks who both have 81 penalties in 11 GP. I lean more towards it’s good coaching but for conspiracy rabbit hole folks, I found it interesting the Eagles are the top 5 least penalized with 58 in 11 GP. Jaguars surprised me with 54 in 11 GP.
The more I look at this site the more I find. Chicago is just insane at a net negative differential of over 250 yards but bills are still top 6 in that category.
We are unlucky and undisciplined it seems.
