I get complaining about the matchmaking, about leavers, etc…

But one thing I will never understand is McJerkface69 having the urge to type in the Match channel “GG my team sucks ASS” after losing the first round of payload escort in comp. Especially when it’s very likely that the other team’s collective skill level is just higher, or they made the more clever plays.

Even if it IS your team playing like idiots, why even voice or type that out in the chat so that the other team can see it? How does it benefit you? Hell, tbh, it probably makes it easier to verify those reports for inappropriate communication that you might get. And I can guarantee you didn’t offer any helpful suggestion in the team chat the entire match.

Seriously, what’s the point of doing this? Are you trying to look cool for the other team or something? I just had a game where someone on the other team did this after my team took the 1st round and two of us had to tell him to stop talking trash about his teammates.

It’s easier to blame something else than being humble and accepting your limits, whether it be your own or your teamwork

Exactly, it can be mechanical or counters or communication. Even a mix of all of those. People just can’t accept losing sometimes.
