99% of the time it happens in the morning. When I play a thumpy song that isn’t continuous bass and it’s the super hard punches, it cuts out into power protect for a second. My car is a 2019 vw golf with a 140 amp alternator, 4awg ofc wire running to the amp, solid connections everywhere.

I have noticed that on those thumps, my 1250rms ct strato subwoofer sounds like it’s bottoming out (so I guess I should turn it down anyway) is my sub possibly causing this to go into power protect? For some reason I feel like this subwoofer taking the power it’s rated for constantly for 6 months and doesn’t like it cause this has only been a problem randomly and it used to not bottom out with its rms. I have a clip light so I havnt been clipping it.
