I think chelsea are a good example cuz when they had their transfer ban they used the time to use their youth, and once they could spend again they at the very least shopped their young talents. We started calling on our youth towards the end of Emery’s tenure and from that period we came out with Saka and Martinelli as stars, ESR who looked a star but will not demand a hefty fee, Nketiah who probably would’ve demanded a better fee if we sold him after his loan at Leeds, and Nelson who we just extended for seemingly no reason. Willock is the only player who’s market we took advantage of.
