Dark Souls 1 definitely did that for me. Really not a big fan of both endings.

Didn’t they release a free update that finally ended it? I know the original ending was just kind of there but that was so that they could build off of DLC (both free and paid) because of “games as a service” nonsense. I haven’t went back because the roguelike dlc held no interest for me but I remember reading something about a final update that actually ended things.
