Look I’m pretty sympathetic to mental health and personal issues, but we are nearly two months into the season and there hasn’t been a single Blazer specific article on the Athletic since 10/25. What’s the deal? I’m about to cancel my subscription. This isn’t so much about Quick because you got to do what you got to do to take care of yourself, I do enjoy his long form posts and want to see them return.

I am subbed to Highkin, and he’s the best reporter for on the ground news and analysis, but Quicks pieces always felt more personal and his interviews with players were neat. Although I like Quick, and I assume he’s going through it… this seems to have been a common theme over the last year and unfortunately it might be time for a new Blazers writer over at the Athletic.
