I was watching replays this morning and it reminded me of a thought I had last night while watching the game at LV: Perhaps Pat’s throwing motion has changed recently.
Specifically, it’s his load motion. It looks like he’s loading up for a 60yd nuke but the ball only travels 20-30yds. I saw this multiple times ovee the past few weeks but it’s best evidenced on the wild flea-flicker from yesterday. Watch Pat load up like crazy, his motion way over the top like he’s in center field trying to gun a runner at the plate, only to (accurately) throw 35yds to Kelce.
I’m not worried or complaining anything; just making an observation and wondering if anyone else sees this?

I read somewhere that he was told his grip on the ball was bad, so he trained to grip the ball differently during this past offseason. If that’s the case, it doesn’t seem like it’s working in his favor.
