It is far too important now. If your tank sucks, you almost always lose. Put this problem into a really awful competitive mode and it’s a recipe for a bad time. I don’t want to feel pressured to play tank most of the time just because I’m aware that having a quality tank on the team is a coin toss, and a rock-paper-scissors game.
Nope, you just need 3/5 players to win. I’ve been made that conclusion since season 4.
I’ve seen games won by the efforts of:
1 support, 1 damage, 1 tank.
2 supports, 1 tank.
1 support, 2 damage.
2 supports, 1 damage.
and VERY RARE, 2 damage, 1 tank.
Supports are so damn powerful right now that even though they cannot carry on their own, they can enable 1 damage or tank to do more than what’s capable. So it’s actually your support that decides your winning games. A tank can feed all day, cool, just focus on keeping the damage role alive and enabling them for easier picks.
