It adds more toxicity than it helps. If you don’t accept the swap they very often troll, afk or soft/hard int.

It is a net negative at least with non-premades. So keep it for premade party members.

If the counter argument is counter picking then we can use the good old logic that the games will statistically balance out, while removing the toxicity from trading.

    It’s QoL, it’s positive 100%.

What you’re saying is like saying jungle buff sharing is bad because junglers get toxic when you take their buffs even though they get it as well, so buff sharing should be removed.

It’s not on the game it’s on the players. It shouldn’t be removed because some people just don’t care to learn.

Horrible example, actually in my favor. They added buff sharing because of the toxicity.

This sounds a lot like “guns don’t kill people, therefore don’t do anything about”
Players do have ultimate power of how they use the tools but the developers control what power we have and limit it if negative. Do we have voice chat? No because Riot sees it as toxic.

Wow way to miss the point of the buff sharing example. Also guess what? Riot also added order swapping because of toxicity. Some people refused to pick for other players or just didn’t have the champions for swapping with other players.

The point of the example is that junglers don’t care or understand but both sharing exist.

Do you even know what jungling is? They know the buff is shared and they troll a lot less because of buff stealing. So they do care, and a lot actually.

Also you said that swapping was added beacuse of toxicity, this is false. it was added to simplify the game, the champions needed, so no more chatting there. And with it came the trolls that refuse to play unless you swap them. That did not exist before.
