Please tell me one team that was competing in a game for 1st place and said “nah I’d rather punt it. We’re looking for more than first place, gotta get that data”
If you don’t understand how out of touch that idea is then I don’t know what to tell you. Saying thg we were developmental this year was managing expectations, but we’ve succeeded. Nobody is going to trade 1st place for anything else in a competitive league, point blank
