You can’t convince me this team is not cooked. We’ve been mediocre for the past 2 years and nothing is changing, despite additions like DJ and Snyder. There’s no reason to keep this going just to be the 8th or 9th seed every year. Teams like Orlando and Indiana have leaped us, and we have no shot of being a top 6 seed. We cannot compete with elite teams. There is no reason to support this team, because they will just disappoint you. Go ahead and start the rebuild and hopefully this time we’ll do it right.
Could be right, but the question is where will be in February. Quin still has coached like 1/2 season total - there will be a learning curve - just have to hope defense will level up to be at least average. But a team implementing new philosophies of a new coach is going to fell the hit more when they lose a key player on top of it all. A more established team can adjust better - Hawks are still learning even when all healthy. Hope JJ comes back sooner than later.
