So I bought my first actually new car (a Corolla) in August and kept getting harassed by some company named Athena.
The part that got me was charging almost $400 a month for a year for stuff that’s under warranty for most of that period anyhow.
- for me, this would’ve made it so I pay EIGHT HUNDRED a month on my car. Hell to the no.
- last time I checked, Toyota’s are super reliable (unlike the car I got rid of. Lol).
- Camry’s and Corolla’s are “budget” cars.
The part that was funny was that they acted like they were giving me some sort of a deal.
$400 a month on top of my car payment. This is a freaking Corolla, not some Porsche. And it didn’t even actually go beyond the warranty Toyota gave me. And yeah, it’s a new car so there’s absolutely the factory warranties and all (unlike with used cars).
