This franchise can’t develop rookies QBs for nothing. You guys are hoping for the next Justin Herbert to come here and overcome this next coaching staffs ineptitude.

Instead of rolling the dice again for another half decade of (please be good) QB play, why don’t you consider trading for an established quarterback. Kyler Murray, Dak Prescott, hell trade the number one overall for Justin Herbert, he might want out of LA.

It literally doesn’t matter who the Bears draft this year, they won’t be good because the Bears have NEVER shown that they can develop a QB.

Ok I’m out.

The first Bears QB I remember watching was Bobby Douglas. In half a century, Id rank the top 3 QBs as: 1. Cutler, 2. Grossman, 3. Harbaugh… and I would take Fields over any of them. His arm is better, and his mobility sets him apart. Yes, there are lots of warts, plenty of faults, not saying he’s my ride or die - but Im saying he’s good enough for the Bears.

And… the odds of us getting that “generational” talent in the draft? Please review the last 50 years and tell me why you think the odds are better than a coin flip we do better than Fields???

What??? Fields over Cutler? No way. Cutler played a few years on some pretty horrible Bears teams. Difference between him and Fields? Cutler was still able to play pretty fucking good those years.

I’ve reviewed the odds myself and 18/26 QBs picked number 1 turned into good NFL starters.
