There seems to be good arguments as to why Dobbs, Hall, and even Mullens to start. As well as good arguments as to why none of them should start. Dobbs has shown his upsides and potential ceiling, but has also shown his lowest of lows. Mullens isn’t flashy and is prone to making bad throws as well, but has an okayish resume with his stint with the 49ers. Hall is a wildcard. Showed some promise in his very limited start against the Falcons, but we also were showed exactly that with Dobbs in his first two games as well. If the Vikings ultimate goal is to win and get into the playoffs, can you actually single out one guy and tell yourself he’s definitely the right guy to accomplish the goal? Can you fault the team for selecting the wrong guy at the end?

I don’t understand why this is even a debate. Hall has not show anything that screams he is not the guy, quite the opposite. So the most important question by far for the Vikes is can he be the guy. Finishing out the season as the starter would allow us to evaluate that. So why in the world start anybody else.!?
