For those who didnt watch the game and just saw the final score, you’ll probably assume the blowout was another long boring beatdown by the cowboys. They were actually only up by 10 points entering the 4th and the beatdown was fairly fast and shocking. But for the first 3 qtrs, it seemed like Howell and Curtis Samuel were carving up the best pass rush in the NFL. Lots of short passes down the middle and surprisingly even a 30 yd pass completion (which is the longest catch by an opposing WR on the Dallas D that I’ve seen so far, but have to dbl check). Is this how you exploit their defense? Just quick short passes here and there? And who actually would benefit from this? Lockett or Metcalf?
Do you guys think Geno can successfully lean on DK Metcalf similarly to how the Howell was leaning on Samuel? or was that just an outlier? Also, the cowboys SOS has been the weakest, as the teams they beat havent been very good, like at all.
Howell’s having a better season than Geno so idk if he’ll be able to do the same
