Ive noticed that my OLED not always pushing 90fps in most of the games. The battery life is not as long as I expected, but its self explanatory. Its like 2h of gameplay of demanding titles. Plus in some games like Dave the Diver game set up 60fps as default aswell.
Do you guys switch some steam deck settings or leave it be on default? Or you switch scaling or throttling down your cpu for extra battery or you low fps to 60 or smthg?
I’d do a 40 or 45 FPS target for most games. Still looks good, more likely to get a steady framerate instead of jumping up and down, and easier on the battery than trying to push as many frames as possible all the time.
