Detroit is -5 in turnover ratio for the year. 3 turnovers to the Seahawks, game lost in overtime. 4 turnovers to the bears, -3 overall, lions found a way to get it done. The defense did fairly well that day considering it seemed almost every drive for the bears started in + territory. 3 turnovers against FTP and the game came down to an onside kick, which that game the packers had a good game plan and the lions lacked a pass rush at all. Obviously the lions offense was on pace during the chargers game which the defense couldn’t defend a cinder block in the air. But overall, besides the ravens game, DC is right when it comes to protecting the ball. Gives me some confidence coming down the final stretch, especially if Goff can get his head screwed back on again. The defense really needs to get after the ball tho to. Me personally, almost feels like limbo land until something gives.

From Week 9 and on last season our turnover ratio was 16 to 4 throwing just one INT vs GB - totally expected that luck to swing back the other way because that’s just completely unsustainable. Hopefully Houston is getting closer to coming back sooner rather than later to help out the drowning pass rush, but given that the 8 weeks was 2 weeks ago it isn’t looking promising
