Was playing earlier today as dps (an off role but trying to practice), I was in VC trying to coordinate with the team. I said “Orisa you’re by yourself back up”, and said player realized I’m female from my voice and said “ok babe”, and any time I used vc afterwards, even if I wasn’t talking to the Orisa, said player ended every sentence with “babe”. Was creepy as fuck. Please don’t do this.
Edit: I’m going to stop responding to comments only bc there are too many coming in so fast lol but I hear all y’all.
Its sad how Overwatch went from a game where VC was fun to use and encouraged to now its just filled with hate and makes the game a worse experience. Im not saying VC wasnt awful in the early days of Overwatch, but I think as times gone on its gotten worse and not better.
