Ok, so the path to the 1 seed in the playoffs isn’t as bad as we may have thought.

Lions win out, Philly and SF need to lose one game each.

Philly has Dallas and Seattle remaining, but they can drop any game since they’re all conference opponents. edit: they would need to lose to one of these opponents

SF’s toughest game is Baltimore at home, but again, doesn’t matter who if they drop one more. edit: losing this game helps the lions greatly

EDIT: it comes down to Strength of Victory, which actually will be impacted by who the losses come to. I was trying to select the most likely outcomes on the playoff machine, while having the lions win out in each. Admittedly, there are more scenarios than I can test.

    From the end of last year my hope has been win the division, win a playoff game. Still looks like that’s quite possible.

    We’re almost certainly going to be the #3 seed in the NFC, so we’d play the #6 seed, which very possibly could be the Packers. Oh, one more shot at those guys is all I really want…
