So my wife currently drives my old Hyundai Sonata that I purchased in 2014 and I know it’s almost time to move on from it. She said she wants Toyota but “doesn’t know” if she’d rather go new, used, sedan, SUV. If she were to go used, what’s a decent mileage range to look at with Toyotas to where it doesn’t have to be a concern barring catastrophe within the next 7+ years?

How do Toyota sedans handle in snow with all seasons/ whatever the “factory” tires they come with if purchasing new, assuming the snow tires our Hyundai has won’t fit them? (this is the next part of my research for her)

Just trying to get as many user attestations from various models before I bring her shopping and she gets the typical salesman “I’ll sell you what I have instead of what you want” approach from someone (though I’m hoping this isn’t the case as the people I worked with to get me into a rav4 hybrid were fantastic)
