Hey Everyone. Holidays are coming up. I will be taking a long trip back home and it has me self-reflecting on my whole existence. A bit dramatic, but this is Reddit! I was curious if anyone has any recommendations on books or podcasts to help spark deeper self reflection. Just something I can consume while back at my parents house for the next few weeks. Thought this might be a good group to ask since many of us are all a long ways from home and probably have some things in common. Many of us probably questioning our decisions and thinking.
Context:
Overall I am in a good space. Good job and financial situation. In a country that many people idolize. But I am feeling a little lost after about 1.5 years of the expat life. I moved on a whim, it’s been a good ride, but now is the time to self reflect on what the heck I want to do with my life. Maybe more of a mid-life crisis question than expat specific.
Appreciate any recommendations you have!
