Maybe it’s just a placebo, but turning subpixel hinting to full RGB in desktop mode seems to make desktop mode fonts a bit easier on the eyes after a reboot (to reload all the text elements). Game mode menus also look better, but I’m not sure if this is just placebo or not. The difference is so subtle I can’t tell if it’s real, lmao.

I have noticed it’s easier on my eyes anecdotally. Worth a try I suppose. Go to Desktop Mode -> Settings -> Appearance -> Fonts -> Subpixel Hinting
