So I have a frustrating problem. 3,000 miles ago I replaced the #3 O2 sensors on both banks. Heated o2 sensor short circuit, the usual.

Well 600 miles ago we ended up unplugging the #1s as we’ve been chasing a misfire for 9 months. That made the misfire end. Cool. We replace them, and immediately, the #3 o2 sensors start coding again. So with 2,400 miles, #3 is once again throwing “Heated O2 sensor malfunction”.

Additionally, after replacing the #1s, the supercharger isolator immediately starts rattling. So you have the car finally back in closed loop after 500-600 miles, and suddenly the #3s are acting up and the supercharger needs to come out.

Could either the supercharger isolator rattling or the fact the #1s were removed for so long be what’s making the #3s so mad? It happened IMMEDIATELY after picking the car up. Maybe 2 miles.

I’ve been told multiple times I have no exhaust leak, no cat issue, no bacjpressure issue, nothing.

I need a plan before I go back, this is absolutely rediculus. I do plan on forcing them to replace the knock sensor at the same time since it’s under the supercharher, as I simply don’t see how the #1 sensor caused a misfire on ONLY 4 and 6. #2 has NEVER misfired. Old engine cooked itself, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s damaged.
