“Lol if you agree with Cartman it means you missed the point. You need better media literacy!!”

These people are insane.

The episode was clearly, unambiguously, directly-to-the-camera criticizing Disney for their lazy pandering.

The episode even opens with a mock Disney logo.

Yes, it also made fun of people who just call everything woke, but I’d say that was about 20% of the criticism.

It also wasn’t just Cartman making the point.

Stan, Kyle, and Kenny also had a problem with Cartman being replaced by a black woman with no explanation. They even distinguish the replacement from fully-developed black characters like Miles Morales.

The Kathleen Kennedy character herself even admits to being lazy and using the Pander Stone.

Good god.

Well Cartman was supposed to represent the people online who only hate pandering when it’s for diversity reasons?? He literally writes a bunch of letters to Kathleen Kennedy because he’s like canonically a racist bigot…

He has no problem when pandering is done to fit his own narrative. Hence why he kept writing to Kennedy to stop, and Kennedy kept doubling down to push her narrative.

The whole thing was making fun of right wing extremist online who claim they hate lazy writing and forced diversity when they really just hate women & POC, all together.
