When he was talking about needing to have kids I deadass thought “you want kids when you can’t even afford an apartment with a bathroom?” He’d probably expect Sophie to work full time to support them while also doing all the childcare
I’m surprised he hasn’t brought up money (her family’s money) more… yet. Not judging him for it yet and obviously finances are important, which is why I think the arc is headed there eventually. Hell maybe having kids is how he sees the money actually flowing to him eventually. This isn’t rare situation where the immigrant is the financial upgrade
