I still can’t get over this:
OG at TI9 could have gone undefeated.
They were fucking around a bunch. They had games where they just didn’t even try to win and were memeing around a lot. There was even a game where for like 20 seconds both teams just walked around each others and didn’t want to teamfight, I forgot if it was with Infamous.
In the playoffs their losses were a meme pick against EG before dumpstering them, a throw against LGD before dumpstering them, and another throw before dumpstering Liquid in the Finals (the famous “we won 4 games in a best-of-five” speech)
In the group stage they lost a game to Vici Gaming because they played Techies, and to NaVi.
That NaVi game is the only genuine defeat OG have had that entire TI. Every other loss was very much a lucky win for the opponents and OG looked like they were going to win regardless.
That’s how it felt watching Spirit this TI. You just had no doubt they were going to win every game
