We had to put down one of our cats back in January, and in the year before we did, I took a lot of photos of him because he was so cute. Now, the camera app on my S9 is sending me photos of him I took a year ago and it’s making me feel distressed. How do I stop it from doing this?
The camera app is for the camera, it doesn’t send you notifications about past photos. The Samsung gallery doesn’t do that either, only apps like Google photos and OneDrive do that. I agree it’s extremely fucking stupid that they don’t have a setting to disable certain things like past pet photos in general, or specifically telling the algorithm that a certain pet should nolonger be showed, but all you could do is just disable notifications for that app, or past photo notifications if they allow it as a seperate toggle, and then ignore the reminder that shows up whenever you open the app.
