Howell has the same stat lines as Mahomes right now which is nuts.
Yes he pats the ball…yes he’s getting sacked a lot and he holds onto the ball but he really seemed to clean it up for that Eagles game. I don’t think people realize how good the kid really is. I believe behind a proper OL, Sam could be even better. I was screaming for JJ McCarthy last week because i still hadn’t seen THAT type of QB play from him until yesterday and now unless he absolutely bombs the rest of the year… i do hope to see him start next year. But you never know in this league.
Hoping we can fall inside the top 10 draft picks and go grab a generational offensive lineman that’ll anchor him for years to come if the Howellitzer does continue to grow in 2023. And if not then there’s plenty of QB’s to choose from.
