Look even if we were 4 and 0 right now, it wouldn’t matter, we don’t have the depth to be a championship contender. We arent even 1 or 2 NBA grade players away for that matter, we are at the minimum 3 away.

What we are hoping for is growth in our young players, so we have a chance in the future.

Scottie is playing exceptionally well, went into tonight statistically in the top 10 players in the league. Will that last, drop, or get better? Logically speaking a 3rd year player will only get better, but the question is how quick?

His averages after 4 games:

PTS: 21.0 - 32nd

REB: 8.7 - Tied-25th

AST: 6.7 - Tied-4th

FG%: 56.5 - 34th

So the diamond in the rough this season should be watching Scottie grow into a dominant player. Let him get good enough to lift this team to win games. I think he is that good and will be doing that but it will take time.

I love watching them grow but Jesus Christ, what is people’s deal here with setting standards for others fans? I can watch for whatever reasons I please. Maybe I’m excited to see Pascal grow in this new ecosystem. Maybe I get hyped watching a guy who was homeless make plays in the NBA. Maybe I enjoy introducing my friends to NBA basketball, even when we lose? Maybe I like seeing Schroder defy expectations? Maybe I know how to place a fun bet or two, to spice up even losing games? And maybe just want to see some athletic booties!

So many folks here need to find a better way to relate to this team else they’ll just keep having a bad time.
