Electric cars are crucial, but not enough to solve climate change. We can’t let them crowd out car-free transit options.

To be clear, this is not an article about why EVs are bad or overhyped, but rather how an exclusive focus on EVs can muscle out other environmentally friendly initiatives like pedestrian zones, cycling, mass transit, etc.
