I don’t understand why the refs are making it a point of emphasis to call these Techs? Most of the times it’s just a playing making sure the landing zone is clear and allowing their momentum to stop. It’s seems unnecessary and more dangerous for the dunker.
It’s a silly rule that’s like something out of “no dunks allowed” pre-merger nba rules.
