Why are we the only team in the NBA to get bashed everytime we trade our homegrown players? I didn’t hear anybody blaming the Sixers for waiving Danny Green at fucking 3AM. I didn’t hear anybody blaming the Clippers for trading Nic Batum, whose wife was incredibly pissed to move across the country. I didn’t hear anybody blaming the Bucks, for trading Jrue, who wanted to retire as a Buck. But when we make the most logical trade in the world (Smart for KP), we get absolutely trashed for “not caring about our players”. Why is this narrative that “organizations do not care about you” only apply to the Celtics?
