He’s currently tied for 6th in COTY odds with Harbaugh who has a former MVP as his QB. Mike Mcdaniel is 2nd despite having the same record as Seattle with a hilariously stacked offense. Campbell is +175 and Carroll is +1600 despite Seattle having the same record as the Lions, beating the Lions, and the Lions had a higher pre season win projection so not like they’re some big under dog.

Pretty much every “coach ranking” list doesn’t even have him top 5. Sometimes he’s like 10th. While a guy like Tomlin is consistently top 3-5 depsite not winning jack shit for ages. He hasn’t won a playoff game since 2016 yet he’s a top 3 coach but Carroll is barely top 10.

Make it make sense. The guy took a QB no one thought was worth anything and turned him into a great starter and the old QB looks more and more like a Carroll product. Yet somehow he gets no respect.

I’m just glad were mostly past the Pete Carroll Wars and every conversation isn’t about how he’s a terrible coach. Wherever in the top 15 or whatever people want to rank him I don’t personally care
