Mason Plumlee is very clearly not the answer at the backup center spot on this team. Sure, his athleticism and rebounding are good, however, his defense might be the worst of any backup center (or even any center) in the NBA. Lawrence Frank will have to make an upgrade before the trade deadline if he wants to give the Clippers the best shot of winning a title.
