There are some fans who support teams cause their favourite players play in it. But it’s not as common to change the team you support cause your favourite manager left and personally I think that’s a fair metric too. I really like Jurgen Klopp’s style of play, if he left Liverpool and went to like Ipswich town or something then I would wholeheartedly support Ipswich town over Liverpool. Is that weird?

    Not support but favour. Being Scottish, I wanted Man United to do well with Sir Alex being Scottish. When Klopp came to Liverpool, I wanted him to do well, being the character that he is (now, not so much). Now I want Spurs to do well as Agne is a breath of fresh air. I am bearing in mind at the same time that it’s no skin off my nose if these particular sides lose as I don’t support any of them. Just that managers can influence favouritism.
