On shooting splits of:
62.8% FG
50% 3P (3.5 attempts/game)
68.4% FT (4.8 attempts/game)
This obviously comes with the caveat of it being the preseason/a limited sample size of games and shots that includes a non-NBA team but Scottie has been notably more efficient as a scorer and generally impactful in less time during those games.
EDIT: PER 36 - 30.1/9.8/4.9/1.6/2.8
Scottie has looked absolutely fantastic. More reps with the ball in his hands, his shot is looking much cleaner and his release looks much quicker. That’s huge for him, should make him more assertive as a distance shooter this season. He’s pushing hard in transition and the Raptors overall identity of playing with pace offensively, ball/player movement, all fits the bill for Scottie and his individual skill set. More sets where he’s downhill on the move and he’s tough to handle with his size and coordination with the ball in his hands. Very excited for him.
