Is having the ball in hardens hand a bad thing?

Now that the clippers have traded for harden, he’s going to have the ball in his hand. Now, I see a lot of people complaining about how that could limit PG and Kawhi. But, IMO harden generating a lot of open shots (which he did last game) would be perfect for us compared to ISOs (which PG and Kawhi are still great at) because open shots are more efficient and less energy meaning there is more reserved for rebounding and defense. Now, there will be times when the PNR doesn’t work when we could, just as easily, revert to iso ball.

Another common misconception from the last game was that he’s taking away shots (considering PG only shot 11 times). Firstly, harden only took 9 shots. Secondly, we had way fewer possessions because of our turnovers and lack of rebounding, which harden has nothing to do with (atleast the turnover part)

The problem is westbrook In the starting lineup, harden fits perfectly with 213. Id like to see less pnr’s with zu and more with 213 especially kawhi, kawhi getting a high post iso or switch with hardens defender is easy money. Last game it looked like kawhi and pg just said fuck it let’s see what James can do. They ran like 20 ball screens with zu.
