with Cam, Mikal as 1A and 1B?

I could see Lonnie be a top 3 scorer on this team as our 6th man but him and CJ both prob hover around 15ppg?

We have 3 & D players like DFS, Royce

Ben doing everything that we need besides scoring the ball (is a 10/8/8 season too much to ask for?)

Clax as an interior presence (lob threat/rim protector/switchable defender)

I think our depth should go as follows when healthy

Starting

Ben Cam Mikal CJ Clax

Bench

Spence Lonnie Royce DFS

It’s been hard to gauge where we’re at without Claxton but it’s a moral victory to see us right there at the end of games with some potential contenders.

We’re a top 10 offense at the moment (without CJ) but a bottom 10 defense. With Claxton back our defense gets bumped up

I think this team has a lot of guys that feel like they can get their own and I hope that’s not their downfall. If they can figure out their identity and acknowledge a pecking order we can compete with the best of them.

Cam and Mikal are like 1A and 1B in those terms right now.

Lonnie and CJ should be options 3/4

Spence should fall back into more of a playmaking role and he would be extremely effective given his ability to shoot and penetrate with the intention to score. I feel like he tries to compete for shots and ends up forcing it too much. It just feels out of rhythm a lot of times. I do feel like he’s making an effort to do this though and will get better throughout the season. Him running the bench unit is the ideal scenario and is what we need.

I feel like if we can swap either Royce or DFS for a quality back up big, this team would feel a lot more complete.

I know we’re not even 10 games in but with all this taken into consideration, can we compete for a 4th seed behind Boston, Milwaukee, and Philly?
