No offense. But people gotta stop saying “hey we started last season 0-4” because did you watch those game last season?? They were fast paced, exciting, high scoring action games that game down to a few points. And several of them also went that way due to lopsided refereeing and bad/missed calls that decided the game against us.

Nothing remotely in the realm close to the Kings we saw these last two games.

So I personally feel like all this “turning everyone into a lock down defender” mindset is hurting us since somehow the whole team has dropped down a peg. We need our pace and speed back, off ball movement and passing back. These things don’t require Fox on the court.

This all being said, I am begging the gods to bring back Fox for Fridays In Season game… our group is arguably the toughest with OKC stepping up and Spurs Wemby, Plus Minnesota is the best defense and has always given us serious trouble. Most likely Warriors gonna be the ones to advance, but I’d like for it to be a competitive race and have a shot at that wildcard spot. That only happens if we win against OKC, and I feel we’re gonna need Fox to do that. We didn’t need that last year, we won against OKC with Fox sitting, but they was TOUGH hard fought wins (this is also when Heurter got his shot back during tornado lockdown)… and I don’t have confidence after last two games we beat this current OKC team without Fox.

People was saying Kings have best shot winning In Season before things started, think we all felt that. But whatever mentally had happened to our squad… we can’t stop that OKC game. Cause Warriors have had our number lately, and literally the other 3 teams all give us serious issues with super long and tall players/centers, so can’t afford to drop it. It would be a bummer to do so bad this inaugural year.

Anyway, hope boys snap out of it. Also I know Monk is a firecracker off bench… but start him. Keon Ellis can be a firecracker off the bench too, hell even Ford was. We gotta start strong because our team is mentally weak. When we get down, it only compounds. Because there’s no Fox that the guys have hope in bringing them out of a 15-20 point hole in the back half. So when we don’t start strong it only gets worse cause they don’t have the confidence in themselves to get out of it. Which is crazy cause first rockets game in the 3rd their defense actually stopped them from scoring for 7 minutes and they caught up. Only to blow all that effort. Still. Boys snap out of it.
