1. Low effort posts (removed at moderators discretion)

We have had TWENTY FIVE self posts in the past 24 hours. 9 of them have happened after today’s daily free talk thread. I’d say 90% of them have NO substantial content (no new takes, ideas and no thoughtful analysis OR questions that could be EASILY googled - how do I get to MetLife). I know the mods will say “let the sub decide with upvote/downvote and Most of them have ZERO upvotes.

Examples:

• OP says the Jets are the laughing stock of the league with no substantial input. It’s negative vibes and has no thought input. Zero upvotes. https://www.reddit.com/r/nyjets/s/ICZK9snXzc

• OP has a bunch of recycled takes that could be in the daily thread but regurgitates them in a self post for extra visibility. Zero upvotes. https://www.reddit.com/r/nyjets/s/c7205KK0NB

• OP asks hypothetical “if Zach is cut what team would he go to” while a half decent question this should be in daily thread. Zero upvotes https://www.reddit.com/r/nyjets/s/vuwtqHIxsh

I want to acknowledge that being a mod is an UNPAID and thankless job so I am not trying to come off overly harsh but I feel we deserve an explanation. The comments are littered with displeasure of content and relying on upvote/downvote only goes so far and to be honest, is a lazy answer.

If it is a mod staffing issue please let us know and open for additions? I’m sure there are people willing to pitch in and clean up the sub. It’s really out of control.
