How do you feel about your purchase a year later? Do you care about the newer gesture controls not being available to you?
minus-squareSrihari_stanBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoI don’t think anyone in their right mind would upgrade to Ultra 2 from Ultra 1. My Ultra 1 is still as good as new after 1 year. Battery at 100%, looks as good as new despite dropping it several times while running.
minus-squareVanceIXBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoNo one in their right mind should be upgrading their $800 watch for at least 3-4 years… At least my perspective as a AWU1 owner, if it can’t last 4 years and maintain It’s longevity for that long it’s not worth it ¯\(ツ)/¯
minus-squareSrihari_stanBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoTrue for Apple Watch as there isn’t much added in upgraded versions. But for iPhones, I’m tempted to upgrade at least once every two years. 😛 Mostly because of the good trade-in value.
