A couple of weeks ago, u/T1m_NBA posted a wonderful analysis of the second-most used play in the Laker’s pre-season. It’s not a terribly complex play, but it is efficient, at 1.10 points per play, and it doesn’t require any special players or superpowers. Thing is, I don’t think I’ve seen anything like this being run over the last, oh, five games or so? All of our half-court play is either

• a LeBron miracle play
• an AD miracles play
• or someone firing a rushed shot trying to make the best out of a stagnant, predictable, ineffective “offense”.

It’s the same players, same coach, same season. What in the almighty F#$! happened that our guys suddenly forgot their most-run plays from just a month ago?! Please help me understand this!
