Ive got a room in my house that gets poor wifi. I want to run an Ethernet line from my main router (Asus ac88u) to the room and use a WiFi extender in there. It does not need to connect to the main router thru WiFi; just Ethernet. Nothing heavy, just streaming video. Can anyone recommend some economical options?
Imho the simplest approach is to buy another 88u(or get an AX88u, then use the AC88u as the AP) and connect them putting whichever model you choose as the AP, in AP mode on the router.
