I’m starting to lean more and more heavily towards favoring a smaller move rather than an in season trade for a star and the more I think about it the more it’s making sense to me.

Id say we currently have: 2 playable playoff guards (melton only as a bench guy) 4 playable playoff wings 2 playable playoff big men

This team desperately needs another ball handler and a 35 ish MPG guard, but other than that, the roster feels fully fleshed out come playoff time (barring injury)

I feel like it makes more sense to ride out this season and make a smaller trade using the Morris +House/Kork contracts (with the swap + springer) as sweeteners rather than congregating everything for a Lavine/Pascal type

Obviously if a better player becomes available that changes things, but I don’t see much upside in making a big splash for those types of guys if it hits our depth with Batum, Roco etc.

This off-season is a different story though.

Thoughts?

The last thing we need is a 3rd star. OG would be the absolute perfect fit
